Quilly

Here is what her new mom writes:

We are really enjoying Quilly. She is a fabulous dog – huge personality! She spends the days with me or Tom; nights with one of the girls. My parents are besotted with her. She gets along very well with Noni – who for the first time in years is actually playing! I actually think Noni is younger now as a result of having Quilly around.

Quilly is learning the routine around here – actually reminds us when things aren’t quite right. She absolutely loves the farm and tears around like a bullet. She is great around horses and sheep and even the pigs. Piglets got out the other day and she was great – no chasing at all. She just waited for us to finish. At one point, she seemed to be thinking, “why do these people have these horrible things around here?” Anyway, we’re working on rabbits… she really is a born hunter. The rats in the barn are all packing their bags….

Sadly Quilly passed away as a result of a tragic accident in December 2007. Rest in peace Quilly.
