Smokey

Here is what Smokey’s mom wrote recently:

We’ve had some fun off-leash adventures, such as hiking on the Juan de Fuca Trail last weekend, and she’s taken to swimming quite well (she was afraid of the water
for some time, although jumping up to bite the hose spray has always been a
fun hobby). She plays very nicely with other dogs, and is very keen to
wrestle and play “chase.” She’s also very sweet with other people. She has
a *very* strong prey drive though, and if there are rabbits or especially
deer, she is off and running (if possible). So that’s our big challenge now
is to work on coming back even when there is a strong temptation. Anyway we
love her and she is a very unique and charismatic dog!
